Brilliant work Mark. Did the 100km walk and no achy hips! Thanks.
I have been there and recommend, don't know what I would do without Mark.
Years ago I suffered a major head trauma resulting in severe brain injury. The resultant problems have meant that I have had further accidents. Mark's treatment has enabled me to lead a more normal active life and be a more serviceable member of society.
In early Aug 2012 I broke my arm at the upper humerus joint whilst overseas. The injury was treated in Singapore and UK . Physio Therapy was prescribed but treatment was not possible until my return to NZ in early October I opted for a course of treatment with a local Osteopath, Mark Franken who carried out a course of treatment involving massage and manipulation of the injured arm.
Towards the end of these treatments I had a consultation at Rotorua Hospital with an Orthopaedic surgeon for assessment. The surgeon remarked that the bone had healed really well and he did a thorough check of range of mobility in my arm which he pronounced far better than usual considering the relatively short period of time since the injury.
He remarked that whatever the Osteopath was doing that he should keep it up as it was obviously contributing to the recovery of a full range of movement in my shoulder joint. I have since completed the osteopathic treatment and I have gained an almost full range of movement in my shoulder and arm which continues to improve with time. I was 74 years old at the time of the accident and I had feared that it would leave me incapacitated for the remainder of my life.
